Wolfhound Weeks Camps Deliver Summer Fun

Wolfhound Weeks Summer Camps are in full swing. Over 850 registered campers have been enjoying an array of fun summer activities. The Pup Academy: Summertime and the Living is Easy! campers enjoyed the quintessential summer activity of running through sprinklers and tossing beach balls on the green.

Message in Motion instructor Samarah Forster taught dance routines as part of Tap Dance Camp, which culminated in an impressive performance complete with coordinating black and white outfits and handmade top hats. From the familiar pop sounds of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” to the iconic sounds of Frank Sinatra’s “New York”, the girls managed to tie it all together with a bit of unintentional but all appropriate slapstick comedy.

Mark Ryan, Director of Summer Programs, has been pleased with the success of the camps so far, “We love having our students come back in the summer and meeting new friends in the community as well.  All of our campers and parents have been enthusiastic.” The programs have featured local and national organizations including Norfolk United, School of Rock, Message in Motion and Camp Invention.

Only two weeks left, don’t miss out! There are still openings for next week's session in Checkmate! Chess, Hip Hop Dance, and Flag Football.  The following week, Aug 3-7, features Basketball Skills camp with our own Coach Damian, Reading/Writing Workshop and Middle School Prep. Register now
