Celebrating Our Volunteers

On Thursday, May 14 we hosted our annual Volunteer Appreciation Celebration to recognize and thank those that generously give their time and talent in support of Saint Patrick Catholic School. The guests in attendance included Master Gardeners, athletic coaches, parent ambassadors, theater set designers, Spirit Store volunteers, and Evenings at Saint Patrick instructors. There are so many different ways to get involved as a parent, grandparent, graduate or friend of the school, and we are so grateful for all of our volunteers and what they do to support our Wolfhound community.

Head of School Lauren Mazzari and Volunteer Coordinator Suzanne Emmons thanked all of our volunteers for their support of the school, with Mrs. Emmons reminding our parents, grandparents, and friends that we couldn’t offer such amazing opportunities to our Wolfhound students without their help. To close out the program, Janet Kim, who is both a current and alumni parent, shared her experience as a Saint Patrick parent volunteer. She has served in such roles as table host at the Returning Thanks Breakfast, field trip chaperone, and most recently, the Chair of the Laudato Si Committee. She has always been willing to step up and help in any way she can and has found that she “has received much more than she has given” through her volunteer efforts. Janet is grateful to have built deeper relationships with both parents and students by serving in this way.

Our volunteers are integral to our mission by supporting our faculty, staff, and students, and they continue to lead by example by showing young Wolfhounds what it means to live a Life of Vocation. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Suzanne Emmons at semmons@mystpcs.org.
