A Christ-Centered Servant Leader

On Monday, January 19, Wolfhound Alumnus Tate H. (2023) came to campus with a few volunteers and added QR codes to each of the fourteen Stations of the Cross that line the Saint Patrick Catholic School campus. This endeavor was the final step in Tate’s effort to complete his Eagle Scout Project. Saint Patrick empowers children to become Christ-centered, compassionate, and courageous servant leaders, so we are excited to see Tate living the mission by giving back to his Wolfhound community.

Tate’s project began back in the late spring and early summer of 2025, when he reached out to Head of School Lauren Mazzari and other Saint Patrick faculty and staff to begin planning and laying out his vision. The fourteen Stations of the Cross stand as a legacy to the graduating classes of 2008 through 2021, and Tate’s goal was to bring context to each Station, giving those visiting the opportunity to prayerfully reflect on Jesus’ final journey.

Each monument now has a QR code that includes an audio description of the Station when scanned. The narrations were provided by Founding Principal Steve Hammond and Wolfhound Alumni from each of the respective graduating classes. Tate’s Eagle Scout Project has brought a unique campus enhancement to life and can now be enjoyed by all of our students and families. This project has also reconnected some of our earliest graduates with the School and reminds all of our alumni that “Once a Wolfhound, Always a Wolfhound.” As our Saint Patrick community celebrities the 20th year of this beautiful campus, this project feels extra special. Thank you, Tate!
