Bravo, Mr. Kypros!

For the past 19 years, we have kicked off Catholic Schools Week with a beautiful piano concert performed by our very own Mr. Chris Kypros. Mr. Kypros traditionally rehearses for a year to memorize and perfect the pieces he performs at his annual concert, and on Saturday, January 27, the audience of over 75 was delighted and inspired by his musical gifts!

Mr. Kypros is a Juilliard-trained concert pianist and has served as both a teacher and Music Director at Saint Patrick Catholic School since its inception. Mr. Kypros spends each day instilling a love for music and performance in every young Wolfhound, so we are truly grateful to experience this special moment in which he takes center stage.

Below are the pieces Mr. Kypros performed this past Saturday:
  • Sonata in B-flat Major, K.333 - Mozart
  • Ballade No. 1 in  minor, Op. 23 - Chopin
  • Estampes - Debussy
  • Sonata No. 1, Op. 22 - Ginastera
