1,030 Inches and Counting!
1,030 inches is almost 86 feet. That is the amount of hair that has been donated to date by Saint Patrick Catholic School students and faculty to the Locks of Love program - an organization that makes wigs for disadvantaged children who lose their hair as a result of chemotherapy or alopecia.
Alumna Caroline Lassalle (’17) initiated this program at Saint Patrick in 2011 and inspired others to step up and take the lead. Jane K. (’21) took over in 2017 and when she graduated last year, she tapped current third grade student Mae D. to continue this important role. Thank you to Kenley M. for being the latest Wolfhound to generously donate her hair. This is what the Life of Vocation is all about!
