Craig Moeller Calls for Snow in Pre-K

On Thursday, January 30, a special guest visited Saint Patrick Pre-Kindergarten. Local celebrity and meteorologist with WVEC-13 News Now, Craig Moeller, taught our youngest Wolfhounds about what affects our local weather and how to predict the weather by looking at the sky. The four and five year olds were most interested in his explanation of what it would take for us to get a snow day. His presentation was very interactive and entertaining. He asked the students questions and they were very excited to show off their knowledge. Mr. Moeller ended his presentation by reading Puffy The Cloud, a book about the different types of clouds.

Mr. Moeller was a big hit with our students, and if he ever leaves Meteorology, he would have a bright future as a teacher. A big Wolfhound thank you to Craig Moeller for taking the time to visit our school and for the shout-out on the morning newscast!
