Blessing of the Animals - Feast of St. Francis of Assisi
The Green
We will celebrate the Feast of St. Francis by blessing all animals, pictures of animals, and stuffed animals. Please bring your pet(s) to the Saint Patrick Green before 7:30 am. The blessing ceremony will begin promptly at 7:30 on the Green. All animals should be on leashes or in appropriate cages, chaperoned by their human companions, and taken from the school immediately following the ceremony. If your child does not have a pet, they may bring a stuffed animal or a picture of an animal of their choosing. IF IT RAINS, THIS EVENT WILL BE CANCELED.
