Ten Saint Patrick Students Earn The Girl Scout Bronze Award

Ten Saint Patrick students in Girl Scout Juniors Troop 45 have earned The Girl Scout Bronze Award. This award is the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve and the third highest Award in Girl Scouts. This award is meant to allow the girls to imagine what they can accomplish when they team up, use their special skills and interests to take action, and make a difference in the world!

Congratulations Madeline A., Sophie B., Bridget D., Amelia D., Jane Abbott K., Amelon R. Sophia S., Raegan S.-B., Alexis S.-P., and Zinnia W. These girls have been working toward this goal since the beginning of the year on a project associated with Our Lady of Perpetual Help Assisted Living Community. The girls completed a Girl Scout Journey, made cards, banners, holiday centerpieces, and completed their project by spending the afternoon singing, laughing, and playing BINGO with residents from Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Seeing the faces, sharing the smiles, and holding the hands of the residents was a hard-hitting, meaningful experience for the girls. By earning this Girl Scout Bronze Award, these girls demonstrated their commitment to helping others, improving the community and the world, and becoming the best that they can be.
