A Busy Night for Wolfhounds: A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage and Annual High School Fair

Fiesta Latina, held on October 5, was a great celebration of cultural diversity through knowledge, music, food, and dance! Saint Patrick parents, teachers and students set up booths showcasing many Latin American countries. They shared their knowledge, personnel stories of their family's unique journey to the United States as well as delicious recipes! The Fiesta also featured native dances performed by Sentimientos y Raíces del Perú, a non-profit organization with the mission of promoting the Peruvian and Hispanic culture throughout Hampton Roads. Gracias to Senoras Mueller, Beer, and Avila for organizing this fun and very educational event.

The Fiesta was followed by the High School Fair. The fair was well attended by the area high schools, Saint Patrick students and their parents. Lots of great information was shared in preparation for deciding on what high schools our graduates will attend.  Kiara Best, our middle school counselor, spearheaded this annual event.  It was awesome to have our alumni return to represent their respective high schools at the fair.
