It's Teacher and Nurse Appreciation Week!

May 1st - May 5th was Teacher and Nurse Appreciation Week at Saint Patrick Catholic School! Our amazing teachers and school nurse, Karen Wohner, educate and nurture our Wolfhound students each and every day. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to celebrate all that they do! 

Each day of the week had a special theme in celebration of our stellar staff:

Monday - You BRIGHTEN Our School!

● Teachers were invited to wear jeans and dress in their favorite color(s).

● Students were invited to wear a top in their homeroom/grade level’s favorite color

to honor their teachers!

Tuesday - We’re WILD About You!

● The “Snack Bar” (aka Mail Room) was stocked with grab-and-go snacks and

drinks for teachers to enjoy throughout the week. We were overwhelmed by the generous donations made by our Wolfhound community. Our teachers will be able to enjoy these treats through the end of the school year!

Wednesday - Gimme’ a BREAK!

● We recognize how hard our faculty works every single day. After early dismissal on Wednesday, we encouraged our teachers to hop in their cars and enjoy an extra two hours to themselves!

Thursday - National Teacher {& School Nurse} APPRECIATION Day

● Support staff and Extended Care staff covered all lunches so our faculty could enjoy

a catered lunch and time together. Teachers on retreat with seventh grade enjoyed their lunch “off” on Friday.

Friday - We’re ELATED You’re On This Team!

● Teachers were surprised with a special note in their mailbox with an Amazon gift card inside.

● Faculty joined support staff at Elation for Happy Hour - The first round was on us and we had a lot of fun spending time together as we wrapped up a very special week at Saint Patrick!

Thank you to our wonderful faculty and school nurse for all that they do to educate and nurture the whole child – mind, body, and spirit - to be Christ-centered, compassionate, and courageous servant leaders!
