Together Again!

As we wrap up our first full week of the 2022-23 school year, it’s important to reflect on how blessed we are to be able to come together again as a Wolfhound community. Life of Relationship has always been at the core of who we are and the last few years have presented us with real challenges. We have been unable to eat and worship together as one Saint Patrick family, so we couldn’t be more excited to see the return of some of the School’s most important traditions.
Monday marked a new beginning for family-style dining and offered many of our Wolfhound students, faculty, and staff a whole new experience. Teachers and support staff serve as table hosts as young students begin fostering relationships with their older counterparts and learning invaluable social skills and healthy eating choices. This highly intentional program facilitates conversations across grade levels and shows every student that they are now part of a family of 400!
In addition, Wednesday served as a positive step forward as well. Not only was this our first school-wide Chapel service since March 2020, but it was new Head of School Lauren Mazzari’s first time leading us in the celebration! The mission of Saint Patrick Catholic School is rooted in faith, so having the opportunity to worship together is essential to who we are as a Wolfhound community. Taking the time, each week, to hear the Gospel and to break its message open through reflection and prayer is a vital component of each student’s Total Formation.
It has been wonderful to have everyone back on campus this week and for all of us to be together again. It’s going to be a great year!
We hope you all have a safe and restful Labor Day weekend!
