In the Spring of 2018, Saint Patrick Catholic School was selected to send four middle school faculty members as Fellows in the 2018 cohort of the Notre Dame STEM Teaching Fellowship. These teachers were selected as one of 10 schools in the program's fourth cohort and joined over 90 teachers from 39 schools from the program's first three cohorts.

 

In the years since becoming Notre Dame STEM Teaching Fellows, STPCS staff members Ashley Costanza and Amber Seeley have spearheaded numerous activities inside and outside of the classroom to help more Wolfhound students have meaningful STEM learning experiences.  The efforts of Mrs. Costanza and Ms. Seeley culminated in the creation of an annual STEM Day event where each and every student gets to participate in a thoughtful, curriculum based STEM activity.
