Elf...Not on the Shelf! Musical Theatre is Back at Saint Patrick!

The Saint Patrick theater was filled to COVID capacity for each of the four performances of Elf: The Musical on December 16-18, 2021. What a fitting way to celebrate the return of live theatre! Because of the pandemic, it had been two years since performers had taken the stage. The School could not have been more excited to welcome guests back on campus to enjoy a show in a safe and joy-filled environment. Elf proved fun for the whole family and served as a perfect way to enliven the Christmas spirit in everyone that attended the performances!
Stepping into the lead role was Second Grade Assistant and first-time stage performer, Damian Daniel, as “Buddy.” He led a fantastic and talented cast that included fellow staff members Brigid Barrineau and Christopher Kypros, Wolfhound parents, Bill Burke, Aaron Moser, and Ben Smith, and twenty-nine students from First through Eighth Grades. The show received rave reviews from audiences and reminded all of us of the magic of the season. Husband and wife team, Rocco and Kathi-lee Wilson, directed another wonderful production that continued to showcase the high quality performances we have come to expect from this thriving theatre program. Thank you to everyone that came out in support of these talented and hard-working performers!
