Financial Aid Opportunities
For those who qualify for need-based financial aid, partial and full grants are awarded annually through the generosity of the Barry Robinson Board of Trustees. We encourage all eligible students to apply and will assist you in completing the simple process. Of course, confidentiality will be carefully maintained.
All families seeking financial aid from Saint Patrick Catholic School must complete a Financial Aid application with School and Student Services (SSS) through the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). This involves completing a Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) and uploading supporting tax documents by March 30, 2012.
The following information is required in order for SSS to process your application:
1. Completed online application http://sss.nais.org/. Our school code is 4079.
2. Payment of the $37 application fee. (Fee waivers are available to a limited number of qualified families. Contact Jamye Brown at (757) 213-0847.)
3. Copies of both parents' 2011 W2s and 1040s, including all schedules.
SSS will verify tax documents, review the PFS, and recommend an estimated family contribution. Based upon the SSS recommendation, the school's financial aid budget, and overall need of the applicant pool, the Financial Aid Committee will determine and communicate awards the first week of May 2012.
To fill out your PFS more efficiently, SSS suggests working through the PFS Online Workbook before filling out your online application. Click here for the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) Online Workbook.
If you have questions about the SSS application process, contact the Admissions office at (757) 213-0847 or SSS at (800) 344-8328.
