Senior Night

Basketball is a big deal at Saint Patrick Catholic School beginning in Third Grade. In keeping with tradition, we held a Senior Night for our Eighth Grade Boys and Girls after their last respective home games. With twenty-seven students in total, the Girls team’s Senior Night was held on Saturday, February 3 and the Boys team’s Senior Night was held on Saturday, February 10.

These Eighth Grade students have learned the basics of the game of basketball, the importance of working as a team and manifesting good sportsmanship, and have collectively experienced both heartbreaking losses and euphoric victories between the lines of their home court at Saint Patrick. We often have alumni come back and stand at the free throw line and reminisce about their time playing Wolfhound basketball, so we always want to celebrate this special moment for our current Eighth Grade players!

While our Eighth Grade students prepare to play their final basketball games for Saint Patrick Catholic School, we are excited to host the Youth Boys Tournament (Third and Fourth Grade) this Saturday, February 24. Semifinals for all divisions will be held next Friday, March 1 and the finals will be held at Catholic High School on Saturday, March 2. We have seventeen total teams and 170 players participating! Go Wolfhounds!
