STPCS and the Reach Out and Read Program at CHKD have partnered to provide a Book Exchange on Tuesday, March 16th in our Media Center for students, parents, staff and the community.

From March 1st – March 15th, please drop off one or more new or gently used children’s books at the Media Center at Saint Patrick Catholic School. Textbooks will not be included. Each participant will be given one voucher that can be redeemed for a book from the donated selection on our Book Exchange Day.

Any books that are remaining at the end of the day will be donated to CHKD’s Reach Out and Read program. This wonderful program provides literacy education and books for young children in Pediatricians’ offices all over Hampton Roads.

Middle School students (Grades 5-8) are invited to attend this meeting of the United Together Through Christ (UTTC) Youth Ministry Group. Meetings will be held every Monday from 3:45-4:45 pm. Contact Kathleen Sharp with any questions at ksharp@stpcs.org.

The first Track and Field practice (Grades 4-8) will be held on Mon. Mar. 8 from 5-6 pm. Nancy Lacore is the coach. Practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-6 pm.

The Winter Sports Awards Program for our Midget Teams will be held in the dining hall on Tuesday, March 9th at 6:15 pm.

Due to the TR Dance Ensemble performance in the STPCS Theatre, there will be no dance classes this day.

Saint Patrick Catholic School will have a Lenten Reconciliation service. Students who have received this sacrament are invited to speak in private with one of the four visiting priests. The kindergarten through eighth grade students will be attending this service. ALL students are expected to wear their FULL DRESS UNIFORM in accordance with their grade level.

The Winter Sports Awards Program for our Junior Teams will be held in the Dining Hall on Wednesday, March 10th at 6:15pm.
