Christmas Musical “A Christmas Prayer for Peace” - Dec 22, 6 & 7 pm

Where: Performing Arts Theater
1st performance: 6:00 pm for parents of K, 2nd, 4th, 6th & 8th grades
2nd performance: 7:00 pm for parents of 1st, 3rd, 5th & 7th grades
(Both performances are the same)

Our Saint Patrick Christmas Program “A Christmas Prayer for Peace” will take place the evening of Monday, December 22nd. The program, under the direction of Christopher Kypros, will be performed twice so that we can accommodate seating for all parents. The first performance will begin at 6:00 pm for parents of Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, 6th grade and 8th grade. The second performance will begin at 7:00 pm for 1st grade, 3rd grade, 5th grade and 7th grade. Parents of children in various grade levels can attend the performance of their choice. Remember, both performances are the same.

Parents may enjoy refreshments in the dining hall from either 5:45 - 6:45 or 6:45 - 7:40 as they wait for their children to complete both performances. In addition to parking at the school, guests may park on the street and in the parking area next to Larchmont Elementary.

All students should wear their dress uniforms and report to their respective classrooms by 5:45 pm. At the conclusion of both performances, students should be picked up from their classrooms by their parents by 7:45 pm.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Hurrah Players - Dec 19, 7 pm

A special performance of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever performed by The Hurrah Players will take place Friday, December 19th at 7:00 pm in the STPCS Performing Arts Theater.

Band Concert - Dec 17, 7:00 pm

The school band Christmas concert will be this coming Wednesday evening, December 17th at 7pm in the performing arts theatre. Our 5th through 8th grade band students will be joined by some band members from St Pius X in the performing of Holiday favorites, including “Up on the Housetop”, “Silent Night’ and Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy”. Some of Mr. Kypros’s select Chorus students will also be sharing their talents with us that evening. Punch and cookies will be served afterwards, an all are welcome to attend this joyous occasion of music and merry-making.

Reality Therapy Parent Session - Dec 11, 6:30 pm

Parents are encouraged to attend this information session about Reality Therapy. Reality Therapy is a technique we use daily here at STPCS to problem-solve and create a needs satisfying environment for our students.

Parent Collaboration - Dec 17

Parents and teachers are encouraged to join together in an effort to identify the progress made by students within the pillars of the Graduate at Graduation document and to make strategic plans to augment the work that is being done at home and in the classroom. This is a non-crisis type interaction between the parent and teacher on behalf of the student. The time for this collaboration is open ended and scheduled between parent and teacher.
