STPCS students win awards at History Day State Competition

On Saturday, April 25, the Virginia History Day competition was held at Williamsburg Christian Academy.
Students revised their projects from the regional competition last month to improve the quality for Saturday’s event. Please join us in congratulating the following students who received recognition for their work at the state competition. The students receiving second place are invited to compete in National History Day at the University of Maryland, College Park in June. Wish them luck!

Million Pennies Update – 128,520 pennies collected!

After the 2nd drop on 4/3/09, we have grand total of 128,520 pennies!!

Keep up the great work for the children of Haiti!  We will be having another drop this Friday, April 24 at 11:45 am.

Parent Collaboration – Apr 22

Parents and teachers are encouraged to join together in an effort to identify the progress made by students within the pillars of the Graduate at Graduation document and to make strategic plans to augment the work that is being done at home and in the classroom. This is a non-crisis type interaction between the parent and teacher on behalf of the student. The time for this collaboration is open ended and scheduled between parent and teacher.

Holy Thursday – 8th Grade Stations of the Cross – Apr 9, 8:15 am

Saint Patrick Catholic School will have a special chapel on this Holy Thursday of 2009 that will feature the 8th Grade reenacting the Stations of the Cross. The Kindergarten through 8th grade students will be attending. ALL students are expected to wear their FULL DRESS UNIFORM in accordance with their grade level. Parents are invited; seating is limited.
