Blessing of the Animals – Oct 3, 7:30 am
Time: 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM
Where: Saint Patrick Green
The Reverend Joseph H. Metzger, Jr. will conduct this blessing of all living pets that may appear with their keepers. Father Metzger will also bless stuffed animals of our youngest students, as well as pictures of pets who not able to travel to Saint Patrick. During this service we will honor the patron saint of all domestic beasts, Francis of Assisi. Following this blessing, the pets will be invited to return to their charges for safe keeping as well as departure for home.
