The 1st graders of Mrs. Brooke Hummel and the 2nd graders of Mrs. Jamye Brown received a standing ovation for the sensitive performance they gave in demonstrating how mankind must make better choices in the way we live or face extremely perilous consequences for ourselves and our entire ecology. The cast included from 1st grade: Marybeth, Maxwell, Keady, Claire, Eva, Cameron, Noah, Sarah, Maria, Ignatius, who played "Smokey the Bear;" Celine, Charlotte, Jacob, Caroline and McKayla. The cast included from 2nd grade: Carly, Nicholas, Harlan, Inga, Coralie, Gates, Julien, Peter, Walter, Jonathan, Michael, Hunter, Brittany, Casey, Elijah, Nakiah, Renee, and Shelby.
