Through collaborative, project-based instruction the library/media center will provide resources and instruction to facilitate, support, and nurture reading and information technology as well as promote intellectual freedom and ethics in information use.
Library book check-out is available at all times during the school day. Information skills instruction is provided in all grades 1st - 8th on the HOUNDS 6-day cycle with each class scheduled once during that cycle. In that time, we will host reading events and study of literature as well as practiced applications of study skills, search strategies, research processes, technology use, and presentation of information.
