Shana Baird

Guidance Counselor

Extensively trained in the art of counseling, Shana is a tremendous asset for Saint Patrick Catholic School. Shana received a Bachelors Degree in Art Therapy with a minor in Special Education from Converse College in South Carolina in 2003. She also completed her course work towards a Masters in Art Therapy from Eastern Virginia Medical School this past May.

Shana's work outside the classroom incuded several internships in South Carolina as well as the Hampton Roads area, including The Charles Lea Center, Spartanburg SC; Star of the Sea Regional Catholic School, Virginia Beach; and Newport Academy in Newport News. Shana also completed internships at the Gibbs Cancer Center in Spartanburg and the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Hampton

Shana's assignment to Saint Patrick's is through Catholic Charities, which dispatches school counselors for the Diocese.
