Sarah Betancourt

First Grade Teacher

Mrs. Sarah Betancourt serves as one of the two Pre-Kindergarten teachers at Saint Patrick Catholic School. She recently moved to the area from Baltimore, Maryland where she spent many years as an Early Childhood educator in the Towson University Student Day Care Center. Her time at Towson Student Day Care Center included teaching in the Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten, and mixed-age classes. Additionally, Mrs. Betancourt supervised Education students as teaching aides in the Towson Student Day Care Center classrooms.

Mrs. Betancourt graduated with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education with a Family Studies focus from Towson University. She also has earned over thirty additional graduate credit hours in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Family Studies. She is an accomplished gymnast and served as a movement education teacher for over eight years. She is a member of the National Association of Young Children (NAEYC).
