Sandra MuellerSpanish TeacherMrs. Sandra Mueller comes to Saint Patrick Catholic School after several years in a local school division as a classroom Spanish teacher. In addition to her success in the K-12 classroom, she has enjoyed success as a dental instructor for over twenty years. Mrs. Mueller has served as faulty member of Universidad Catolica de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, and at the Leon Dental School in Leon, Nicaragua. Mrs. Mueller earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from La Patria College, her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Tourism from Universidad Catolica Rafael Landivar, and her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene from Universidad San Carlos. She is currently earning her Master’s in Education from Virginia Wesleyan College. “Train a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not swerve from it.” ~ Proverbs: 22-6 Mrs. Mueller is a volunteer member of the Physicians for Peace Organization. With this organization, she travels in Latin America as volunteer in a team of dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants who provide detail care and oral hygiene education to those in need. She also uses her dentistry skills to assist the migrant working community on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. She is also a member of the Multicultural Alliance of Virginia. Mrs. Mueller enjoys her work as an educator – both in the Spanish and Dental Assistant Program. |
