Robert Mayer

Physical Education Instructor and Director of Athletics

Robert is one of the most experienced health and physical education instructors in Hampton Roads, having served in this position for over 30 years within the Norfolk Public School System.

Robert has coached numerous organized sports teams throughout his career including Maury High School Girl's Varsity Soccer Team, Blair Middle School Girls Soccer Team, the Tidewater Catholic Basketball League and the Norfolk Soccer League.

Robert serves on the stewardship committee and is a Eucharist minister at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk. He is also a member of the Professional Association of Teachers.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education and a Master of Science in Public School Administration, both from Old Dominion University.
