Kathleen Sharp

Instructional Technology Integration Specialist

Kathleen has more than twelve years experience developing, planning, implementing and customizing training schedules and procedures both in the classroom and private sector. Formerly a teacher specialist and administrative intern of Instructional Technology in a local school systems, Kathleen has spent much of her career as a middle school and high school English teacher for the Virginia Beach City Public Schools and the Fairfax County Public Schools.

Kathleen is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Virginia. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the National Council for the Social Studies, and the International Society for Technology in Education. She is also a former member of the Board of Directors for the Tidewater Children's Foundation.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in English at Virginia Tech and her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia. She is also currently studying to become an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership/Administration through the University of Virginia.
