Karen Wohner

School Nurse

Karen comes to Saint Patrick from Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, where she was a nurse for nearly 15 years. Prior to her association with Maryview, Karen served as a nurse at Mesa Lutheran Hospital in Mesa, Arizona.

If a child is to keep his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we live in.

Karen graduated with an Associates Degree in Nursing from Mesa College in Arizona and received her nursing certification in Virginia in 1990. She is currently certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
