Debra "Deb" Mifflin

Sixth and Seventh Grade Mathematics Teacher

After spending thirteen years in neighboring school districts as a gifted inclusion teacher and gifted resource specialist, Ms. Debra Mifflin brings her joy and passion for math to her middle school students at Saint Patrick Catholic School.  Even stronger than her passion for math is her desire to find unique and concrete instructional methods that ignite the joy of all math concepts in her students. Such dedication has brought success to Ms. Mifflin in her earliest years in the classroom winning her the 1993-1994 Virginia First Year Teacher of the Year Award.  Ms. Mifflin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Virginia Wesleyan College and her Master of Education with an endorsement in gifted education from Old Dominion University.
