School Facility and Amenities

Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Saint Patrick Board of Directors, our school is one of the most advanced Catholic schools in the nation. Board members toured some of the most recognized Catholic schools in the country and paid careful attention to what worked well—and what didn't work well—for other schools with similar goals and vision. The results are evident at every turn.

The campus itself, located on 16.5 wooded acres, features 90,000 square feet of usable space in six handsomely designed brick buildings, all organized around a charming "Saint Patrick Green." Every building material—from the brick on the buildings to the slate on the roof—has been carefully chosen to faithfully mirror the style and majesty of our historic Norfolk neighborhood.

The campus features:

• A primary instructional facility, consisting of two stories of 24 elementary and middle school classrooms
• Full-service computer and science labs
• A suite of music rooms and art studios with facilities for pre-schoolers
• State-of-the-art library and media center, with capacity for over 14,000 hard volume books, a computer lab for electronic research, a parent resource center, and a distance learning room for videoconferencing, teleconferencing and various interactive disciplines
• 350-seat performing arts auditorium
• 215-seat dining hall
• 400-seat gymnasium
• Junior- and regulation-sized lacrosse and soccer fields
• Regulation-sized baseball and softball fields
