After Care Staff

  • Sheila Jessen, Extended Care Director

    A New Englander by birth, Sheila is an avid “chowda-head” and proud member of the Red Sox Nation.   Growing up in a small town in Rhode Island with a zest for life and a desire to experience the world, she enlisted in the Navy.  During a 23 year career serving around the globe from Hawaii, Alaska, and the White House to Italy and Bahrain, Sheila rose through the enlisted ranks, received a commission, and retired in 2002 as a Lieutenant Commander.  She comes to Saint Patrick a seasoned professional with years of organizational, leadership, team building, and mentoring experience.

  • Krystal Bell, A.C.E Staff member

    Krystal Bell is currently a student at Old Dominion University and is pursuing a B.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. As a teacher within the Children’s Ministry in her church, she enjoys taking active roles at Faith Alive where she can help guide the children within her community.

  • Jessica Clark, A.C.E. Staff member

    Jessica attends Old Dominion University where she is majoring in interdisciplinary studies for Pre-K - Sixth Grade with a double minor in Psychology and Spanish.  She plans to pursue a career as a teacher after graduation.  This is her second year at Saint Patrick.

  • Elizabeth Kassel, A.C.E. Staff member

    Elizabeth Kassel is currently attending Old Dominion University and plans to major in interdisciplinary studies for Pre-K - Sixth Grade. After graduation, she plans to pursue a teaching career. As the oldest of five children, she enjoys working with kids of all ages. She loves working at Saint Patrick!

     

  • Mark Ryan, A.C.E. Staff member

    Mark Ryan is currently attending Old Dominion University, pursuing a B.S. in Sports Management. He is also in the process of becoming an officer in the United States Marine Corps upon graduation. A standout soccer player in Italy for four years, he coaches the Wolfhounds U-14 soccer team.

  • Amanda Stainback, A.C.E. Staff member

    Amanda Stainback is a freshman at Old Dominion University and plans to major in Communications with a minor in Sociology. She is the oldest of eight children and hopes to continue working with children of all ages after graduation. This is her first year at Saint Patrick's, and she is excited to be a part of the Wolfhound community.
