Summer 2008 Wolfhound Weeks - Program Descriptions
Times: 9 am – 3 pm Ages: 6-13
Week 1: June 23 - 27 Week 2: July 7 - 11
Cost: $190 per week, $20 multi week or multi child discount
“Girls on the Go!” will be returning for its third year and is filled with fun activities for girls of all ages. This fitness camp is designed to introduce girls ages 6-13 to a variety of sports while developing their understanding of how to live a healthy lifestyle. Campers will participate in lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, yoga, basketball, circuit training, nutritional education and much more! This camp fills up quickly so sign up early to confirm your spot!

“Guys on the Go!” is returning for its second season at Wolfhound Weeks. This week-long camp offers boys ages 6-13 a chance to learn and improve upon a variety of sports skills while introducing healthy lifestyle habits. Campers will participate in baseball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, speed/agility training, flexibility, and more. Don’t miss out and come get moving with us!

Times: 8:30 am – 11:30 am Ages: 6 -13
Session Dates: July 7 – August 1
Cost: $700 per camper, $50 multi child discount
This summer we are adding a four-week camp designed specifically for literacy skill development. Campers will have the opportunity to explore, build, and define personalized literacy skills. They will receive exposure to and practice with reading a variety of texts and build upon their ability to recall, process, sequence, and comprehend new information. Campers will also refine their skills in writing. The students will learn the traits of effective writing to construct fluent sentences, select rich word choices, organize and develop ideas, improve conventions, emphasize voice, improve conventions, and use the writing process to present a finished piece. Students with teacher recommendations are given preferred placement; however, this camp is open to all rising 1st through 8th graders. Space is limited to preserve a low teacher-to-student ratio. Creating, Communicating & Collaborating with Technology
Times: 12 – 3pm Ages: 6 -13
Session Dates: July 14 - 18
Cost: $100 per camper, $10 multi child discount
New to Wolfhound Weeks, this technology-based session will help explore a number of Web 2.0 resources used in today’s classroom to enhance creativity and higher-level thinking skills. Students will explore podcasting, blogging, and digital storytelling to create products and communicate information in a lab-based setting. In addition, students will spend time each day familiarizing themselves with keyboarding basics to help them become comfortable and efficient technology users. While some computer awareness is helpful, it is not a requirement.

Saint Patrick Catholic School proudly announces the return of the Summer Leadership Program. This program promotes leadership skills and develops teamwork through soccer, confidence through forensics, creativity through art, critical thinking through robotics, and technical skill through video production. These potential leaders will also develop and learn attributes such as time management, integrity, trust, communication, respect, diversity, and problem solving among others.

Cost: $5/hour -- **The week of July 14th-July 18th additional hours will be available. The hours are from 7-12 am and 3-6 pm.**
Saint Patrick Catholic School is pleased to add additional before and after care hours to better suit the needs of all families. Pre-registration is recommended to confirm space and availability.
