What does the Saint Patrick Catholic School Learning Resource Center provide?

  • The Saint Patrick Catholic School Learning Resource Center strives to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • The Learning Resource Teacher is available to consult with parents seeking information regarding their child's learning needs and performance.
  • Specific academic achievement testing and analysis is available on-site.
  • A Differentiated Educational Plan, including test results and recommended accommodations, is created for each student receiving Learning Resource services.*
  • The Learning Resource Teacher directly collaborates with families and teachers to investigate possible causes of learning challenges, problem solve to determine interventions, and to ensure that students' learning needs are being met.
  • Alternative testing environments and formats are available and administered as needed.
  • Learning Resource sessions focus on class work completion or targeted instruction to strengthen identified skills.*
  • Facilitation of outsourced testing and consultation with area specialists and schools is provided as needed.
  • The Learning Resource teacher assists graduates transitioning to new school environments by meeting with the appropriate school personnel.
  • The Learning Resource Teacher provides workshops focused on high interest areas for teachers and parents.
