Learning Resource Center

Saint Patrick Catholic School’s Learning Resource Center strives to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.

The Learning Resource Coordinator or Resource Teacher is available to:

  • provide students with classroom and one-on-one instruction;
  • support teachers to implement best practices in reading and writing;
  • work with the Director of Studies to coordinate the school-wide literacy   program; and
  • exchange practical reading and writing strategies with parents to best assist their efforts to foster literacy at home.

Additionally, the Learning Resource Center serves to support the mission and vision of Saint Patrick Catholic School through:

  • Student assessment analysis by reviewing various assessment data to formulate the most accurate and effective action plan to support the diverse learning needs of each student;
  • Parent and teacher collaboration by sharing information regarding the resources and supplemental services available for all students; and
  • Student advocacy by understanding and communicating the needs of the student and collectively working with teachers to ensure the most appropriate academic setting.
